so i'm at work today and it hits me. on this day in Mark history twelve years ago i passed the swim test at the neighborhood pool, thus allowing me to go to the pool and gain admittance by my self. i was not a good swimmer and it was the third or fourth time i tried to pass the test before actually doing so. this is nothing all to significant, it is just probly the first of i'm sure many milestones i'll look back on and feel old about. it is an odd sensation to realize that i have spent more time alive since passing my swim test than time i spent alive prior to said test, and twelve years is a life time when your twenty. |
