so i have a new position at work. i have moved up from the realm of customer service and on to the world of recieving. i get to spend my days in the back room unloading trucks and listening to what ever music i choose. these two things sometimes make life interesting and give me a chance to practice my snicker as a music snob. like friday i had on the last new order album, and a trucker asked who the band was so i told him to which he replied "they aren't that bad you know i have a feind who has a small label and i from what she plays for me i think this band might have a chance." i didn't have the heart to tell him they have already been around for two decades made half a dozen albums and had huge success from half a dozen singles. i just walked away. |
