it's like the opening of empire records, well maybe not the exact opening where lucas steels nine thousand dollors and blows it in atlantic city, but a little further into the film than that. ...um the part where mark and every one else is getting the store ready to open and mark makes a comment to the effect that nothing bad could happen "not today, cause today is rex manning day." thats the part of the movie i was talking about.... today was one of those days. today was Bleed America Day! up at eight, out the door at thiry after, my house nine, shower, change*, and let the dog out. target nine thirty (thier sorry, but they seem to have not gotten it in thier shipment.) run out of the store take the beltway around to jersey village(i so feel at home in this town)target ten to ten (SUCESS)a copy for me and one for kari(for her birthday so she has something decent to listen to and not just the stupid new nsink) tom gets one for himself aswell. then to whataburger (i missed that place oh so very much) after we ate various item of business in out and around the city. of course with the new jimmy disc spinning oh so loudly. MY GOSH IT IS FANTASTIC.back to toms, relax for a bit then ot my interview at warehouse music. cancled, some region manager was in so reschedualed for tomorrow. i was by the mall so what the hey, went to see mr.franklin* and to my amazment Akira was re-released on this very day. i also get a special animated cell type thing and a little promotional thing off the wall because mr.franklin is cool like that. back to toms. yes, a very good day, and all before 1:30p.m.* *my black rising sun jimmy t-shrt(is there any other shirt i could of worn today? *Mr. Franklin, name jeremy franklin, was in drama with me in high school, graduated a year a head of me, a great guy. the Mr thing is just something i do, some people just get refered to as Mister, for some people it just fits, like Mr. Askins, or Mr. Franklin, and sometimes(very rare occasions) Mr. Crowe *i don't know if i can express how great my joy was with all that had happend up to this point, i have been waiting for bleed america for atleast the last four months, and the mastered versions are so wonderful, and i have been looking for akira for the last two years, which is about how long it has been out of print. everyting after was ok but everything before 1:30p.m. was so great that is all that really needs to be reflected on today.
