Got back Sunday night from spending just under two weeks on the road. Went to Colorado and the Res and LA. From the trip I had two take away realizations. 1) I don't care for the LA Amoeba, it doesn't feel like the others used to when they were just in the Bay. I don't like how Amoeba has made LA their flagship store. It makes me sad. 2) As I was returning, once I hit the landmarks and all that that are familiar on site, and once I got back to the house it didn't feel like coming home. It was just being back in a place where I have all my stuff and a job. It reenforced my feeling that if I had anywhere else that I really wanted to be I'd get the hell out of here as fast as I could. |
